Specialist Independent Technical (Security) Advice
Unlike many consultants we are proudly independent. We are genuinely Specialist Independent Technical Advisers (SITAs). We provide a range of Specialist Independent Technical Advice to public authorities, institutions and companies. Helping to review the current provision and performance. We undertake audits and compliance testing and analysis, identify issues, and produce and present reports to Operational and Board-Level meetings and to Regulators, Risk Analysts and Insurers. We also develop the associated specifications, schematics and tender documentation.
Threat and Vulnerability Assessment
We specialise in undertaking confidential independent assessments on organisational physical and cultural security threats and vulnerabilities. Both strategic and tactical. We also assess Publicly Accessible Locations (PALs), providing pragmatic assessments and focused actionable advice. Helping to develop and support projects and programmes to help organisations protect their assets and people.
Procurement Advice and Support
We help organisations and senior management navigate their way through complex procurement exercises. Supported by our experience as Specialist Independent Technical Advisers (SITAs) we help organisations develop their operational requirements, and secure quality solutions that deliver. We also work with elected representatives and Boards to help them understand the importance of their operational requirements and the whole-life cost (and benefits) of their systems and operations.
Emergency Preparedness
We help develop and test organisational and multi-agency emergency preparedness. Through conducting confidential reviews and audits, and through designing and facilitating live and desktop exercises.
Organisational Insight and Strategy
We help businesses and organisations to understand their employees, customers, visitors, the general public and stakeholders better. We deliver transformational insight to help inform strategic developments and improve operational performance. From producing organisational wide security strategies to developing and writing standard operating procedures, delivering training and facilitating live and desktop multi-agency training exercises. Working with local authorities, government agencies and the police.
Securing Funding and Support
Whether you are in the private, public or not-for-profit sectors, security budgets always need to be justified, as does the deployment of any security intervention, especially video surveillance (CCTV).
We work with organisations to identify operational need and develop the subsequent business cases and resource plans; as well as helping to write and submit internal and external funding applications. Over the past few years we have helped publicly supported institutions secure millions of pounds of additional funding enabling them to install and upgrade their security capability. We have also helped develop a number of multi-agency, collaborative partnerships and consortia.
